Greenleaf — Where Are They Now?
After being left completely hurt by the final episodes of Greenleaf, Jon and I decided to do a life prediction blog post for a few of the characters.
Our Late Bishop Greenleaf (James)
UGH MY HEART! DO NOT TALK TO US! WE ARE SO SAD HE PASSED! UGHHHHHH BYE!
Lady Mae
After the passing of Bishop Greenleaf, Lady Mae is now head pastor at Calvary Fellowship. She continued the transition of A Day With Lady Mae and she started a charity for abused and battered women in honor of her late daughter Faith and herself. She began therapy and started her healing process. Her relationship with Grace has benefited from finally dealing with her hurts and trauma.
Grace Greenleaf
Grace was offered the job in New York City. She’s now living in Greenwich with Sofia who now attends NYU. Darius followed her to the Big Apple and they’re now engaged and planning their wedding. She now runs an organization which supports single mothers in New York City. Still very classy and fashion forward, Grace is what we call a Birkin Mom. She’s the city’s style icon and is constantly featured on blog pages and fashion think pieces on TikTok.
Sophia & AJ
Sophia is studying business law at NYU. She’s a social media influencer with niches along the lines of skincare and the clean girl aesthetic. She host Bible Study virtually every week and is a youth leader in her new home church in New York. She reconnected with Roberto and the two are working things out slowly. Things look very promising for the love birds.
AJ is finally letting his guards down and allowing the family to love on him. He moved into his own apartment and is now working at Calvary as head of security. He visits Grace and Sophia often but isn’t a fan of the big city. As for his diagnosis, God is good and is the greatest physician because AJ is healed completely from the disease. He is courting a member of Calvary but only Lady Mae is in the loop so far.
Jacob
The only Greenleaf boy is now remarried to no other than Tasha. The two are now living together in Atlanta as pastor and First Lady to their new found church. The couple is expecting a baby boy and are excited to have Zora and Jacob Jr. come visit their little brother in months time. As for Karissa, Jacob and ex Mrs. Greenleaf are no contact and only communicate through lawyers where the kids are concerned. Karissa had a crash out after the announcement of Tasha and Jacob’s engagement which lead to the new agreement between the ex couple.
Zora & Winky
Zora tried living in NYC for some time but quickly realized it wasn’t what she expected. She made another huge move to LA where she finally found love with her new boy friend Justin. She received her High School Diploma and is preparing for Howard in a couple of months. With the distance that will affect her and Justin, we’ll have to stay tune to see if this love is Forever.
Winky
Little Winky isn’t so little anymore. Our boy is now the Chessboard Champion in Nationals and is preparing for the international tournament coming this fall.
Charity
Ms. Greenleaf is FINALLY AP at Calvary. Lady Mae offered her the position after her efforts made in getting the church back. She’s still single after that chaos with Phil and she’s happy with how her life is changing now. She’s working on her album and is head of the music ministry at Calvary. Charity and Kevin are doing so much better as far as co-parenting and they’re working on a friendship to make Nathan’s experience of them more pleasant.
Well, this wraps up our binge of Greenleaf. It was such a fun show to watch especially because we know how messy some church can be. Thank God for Jesus and for forgiveness and the Blood that was shed for that because whew! Keep in mind, no church is perfect but we are trying DAILY to be more like Christ. Amen? Amen.
